- The emergency radio station R-855A1 is installed on all types of “Soviet” aircraft. Designed to provide radio communications to crew members who have crashed an airplane or helicopter with search and rescue teams.
The R-855A1 radio station has two types of communication:
- radiotelephone in COMMUNICATION mode
- a beacon with sweep tone modulation in the BEACON mode
- The connected Baklan-20 radio station (Baklan-5, Baklan-20D) are installed on all types of “Soviet” aircraft. The MV range radio station is designed to provide simplex mode radio communications for aircraft crews, helicopters with each other and with air traffic control ground controllers.
- Course MP-70 - On-board equipment is designed to provide manual and automatic piloting of aircraft on the beacons of the VOR navigation system, as well as landing on the beacons of the international ILS system and the SP-50 system. The characteristics of the equipment provide the ability to land aircraft in the meteorological minimum category IIIa.
- SD-75 (M) - The aircraft range finder is an airborne part of the range navigation system and is intended for continuous measurement and indication of the distance between the aircraft and the ground beacon - transponder.
- SD-67A - Aircraft range is designed to work with ground beacons of the DME system and is used for continuous measurement and indication of the distance between the aircraft and the ground beacon - transponder.
- VOR-85 (1.247.006 -11, -12) - The navigation system equipment is an onboard part of the aircraft short-range navigation system and is designed to measure the aircraft azimuth relative to VOR type ground beacons and the transit times of route and landing marker beacons for subsequent location of the aircraft or deviations from a given course.
- DME / p-85 - Aircraft rangefinder is designed to measure the slant range between the aircraft and ground transponders type DME / P, DME / N, TACAN. The range finder is included in the MLS system.
- ILS-85 (1.247.005 -11, -12, -14) (PDU ILS-85) - The landing system equipment is an onboard part of the aircraft landing system and is designed to land on beacons of the ILS or SP-50 meter range
